Daloopa closes USD 47M Series C for AI-finance data layer
The fundamentals-data vendor is positioning itself as the structured-data plumbing behind LLM finance workflows.

Daloopa, the financial fundamentals data vendor, has raised USD 47M in a Series C round, the company announced on PRNewswire. The capital is earmarked for extending its structured-data feed into the generative AI tools that buy-side and sell-side analysts have started routing earnings work through.
Daloopa's core product is parsed, normalized line-item data from 10-Ks, 10-Qs, earnings releases, and investor presentations, the kind of fundamentals scrape that buy-side associates have historically built by hand into models. The new round funds an expansion of MCP connectors into ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Rogo, according to the company.
The Model Context Protocol, introduced by Anthropic in late 2024, is the connector standard that lets an LLM pull from an external data source mid-prompt. A buy-side analyst in ChatGPT asking for a five-year revenue bridge on a specific issuer can, with a Daloopa MCP connector live, have the model pull the actual filed numbers rather than hallucinate them. That is the workflow the funding is underwriting.

The company did not disclose lead investors, valuation, or revenue figures in the PRNewswire announcement.
The broader signal for the finance-data category: capital is flowing to the seams between LLMs and verified data, not to standalone chatbots. A Series C at this stage for a fundamentals vendor whose pitch deck leads with MCP, rather than with a proprietary research UI, is itself a read on where the buyers are spending. What to watch: pricing disclosures, named buy-side logos, and whether the MCP connector traffic Daloopa cites translates into seat counts at the hedge funds and sell-side desks it needs to convert.
