1. Who we are

Inflexion AI Pty Ltd, trading as INFLXD ("INFLXD," "we," "us," or "our"), publishes INFLXD Media, a news and intelligence site about the expert-network and primary-research industry.

This Policy covers media.inflxd.com. Our other sites publish their own privacy policies, because they use different tools; this Policy describes only what happens on INFLXD Media.

It explains how we collect, use, disclose, secure, and retain personal information when you use the site, and the rights available to you under applicable laws.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information, depending on how you interact with us:

• Identifiers. Name, email address, and contact details, when you subscribe to our newsletter or contact us.
• Device and usage data. IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring URLs, pages visited, and timestamps.
• Location data. General location inferred from your IP address.
• Organization data. The organization that owns your network address, where that address belongs to a company rather than a home or mobile provider. We look this up so we know which companies are reading us. It identifies the organization, not you personally.
• Communications. Messages, feedback, or survey responses you send us.
• Inferences. Reading preferences derived to improve what we publish and how the site works.

INFLXD acts as the data controller for the information described in this Policy.

3. How we collect information

• Directly from you. When you subscribe, submit a form, or contact us.
• Automatically. Through cookies, analytics tools, and server logs. See our Cookies Policy.
• From links we send you. When you open a link from one of our emails or messages, or submit a form with your email address, we connect your visits on this site to your contact record. This lets us see what a reader we already know is interested in. It happens only after you have accepted analytics cookies, and you can ask us to unlink and delete this history at any time.
• From third parties. Such as analytics providers or integrations you authorize.

4. How we use information

• Operate and improve the site. Serve pages, measure what gets read, and maintain reliability and security.
• Communicate with you. Send the newsletter, respond to enquiries, and provide support.
• Advertise our services. Show INFLXD advertising to people who have read us, as described in section 5.
• Business development. Understand which organizations are interested in our coverage so that, if we contact them, we do so with something relevant.
• Comply with legal obligations. Meet regulatory requirements and enforce our terms.

For business development we rely on our legitimate interest in promoting our services to businesses. You may object at any time by emailing privacy@inflxd.com. Nobody is contacted automatically because they read a page.

5. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, measure performance, and improve your experience. Our analytics tools are PostHog and Google Analytics, both hosted in the United States. They run only after you accept analytics cookies.

We also use Google Ads. When you accept analytics cookies, Google may show you INFLXD advertising on other websites and apps you visit afterwards, and may measure whether that advertising brought you back to us. This is sometimes called remarketing or cross-context behavioural advertising. It is off until you accept, and switching Analytics off in Cookie settings turns it off again. We do not sell personal information. Google uses this data in line with its own privacy policy, including to personalise the advertising you see. You can control that in your Google account settings.

We separately infer the organization behind a visit from the network address, as described under Organization Data above. We do this with business identification services, which may include Apollo. Where such a service runs in your browser, it loads only after you accept analytics cookies, and it identifies the organization rather than you. 6. Data sharing and disclosures

We share personal data only as needed for the purposes described in this Policy:

• Service providers. Trusted partners who host, store, or process data under confidentiality agreements.
• Legal or regulatory requests. To comply with applicable laws or lawful investigations.
• Business transfers. If INFLXD undergoes a merger, acquisition, or reorganization.
• With your consent. When you explicitly authorize sharing.

We do not sell personal information. If applicable local laws define "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising, visitors in the United States can opt out by switching Analytics off in Cookie settings, reachable from the link in our footer, or by emailing privacy@inflxd.com.

7. International data transfers

We may store and process data in countries other than where you reside. Where required, we apply appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to ensure equivalent data protection.

8. Data security

We use administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect personal information, including encryption, access controls, and monitoring. However, no online transmission is completely secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, please contact us immediately.

9. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to:

• Operate the site,
• Comply with legal obligations,
• Resolve disputes, or
• Enforce agreements.

Analytics data is kept for 12 months. Persistent cookies expire after 12 months, and the cookie recording your consent choice after 180 days. Some system backups or logs may be retained for longer for security and business continuity.

10. Your choices

• Unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email, or by contacting us.
• Control cookies and tracking preferences in Cookie settings, or through your browser settings.
• Ask us to unlink and delete the reading history attached to your contact record.

11. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
• Request data portability.
• Withdraw consent, where applicable.

You may exercise these rights by contacting us. We may verify your identity before processing your request.

12. Children's privacy

INFLXD Media is not directed at children under 13, or the applicable minimum age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us for deletion.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy periodically to reflect changes in law or business practices. Any material changes will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.

15. Regional notices

A. European Economic Area, Switzerland, and United Kingdom

We process your personal data on one or more of these legal bases:

• Legitimate interests, to operate and secure the site and to promote our services to businesses
• Legal obligations
• Consent, for optional cookies, analytics, and advertising

You may have additional rights to object, restrict, or lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. We use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

B. United States, California and other state privacy laws

INFLXD does not sell personal data. If applicable, you may request:

• Disclosure of data collected, shared, or retained over the past 12 months.
• Deletion of personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
• Correction of inaccurate data.
• Opt-out of cross-context behavioural advertising, by switching Analytics off in Cookie settings.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

C. Nevada residents

We do not sell "personally identifiable information" for monetary gain. To opt out of any future sales, email privacy@inflxd.com.

16. Australian privacy

INFLXD Media is operated from Australia by Inflexion AI Pty Ltd. If you are concerned about how we have handled your personal information under the Privacy Act 1988, contact us first at privacy@inflxd.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
