Guidepoint opens MCP server on Claude with 100,000+ expert transcripts

Guidepoint launched a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server on Anthropic's Claude on May 5, 2026, giving research teams direct access to a library of more than 100,000 expert interview transcripts from inside their AI research workflows, according to the company.

Every insight surfaced in Claude is attributed and linked back to its source in Guidepoint360, the firm's research platform. Guidepoint says it adds more than 5,000 new transcripts each month to the library.

The MCP integration changes the entry point for using an expert network. The traditional workflow starts with a research request, a moderator-scheduled call, and a transcript delivered after. With an MCP server, a Claude session can query the existing transcript library mid-research, pull relevant prior expert commentary on a sector, ticker, or supply-chain question, and return citations the analyst can follow back to the original call.

Guidepoint's framing leans on the provenance layer. The transcript corpus is built by more than 300 content specialists and is 100% compliance-reviewed to institutional standards before it enters the library. Source-linked attribution back to Guidepoint360 means the answer surfaced in Claude carries a click-through to the underlying transcript, the expert's vetted background, and the compliance review trail.

That detail matters for the audience. Buy-side compliance teams have spent the past two years building policy around AI tools that synthesize across paywalled and proprietary research without exposing the source chain. An AI answer without a traceable citation is not defensible to an investment committee. An MCP server that returns the underlying transcript line, the expert ID, and the compliance status is.

The underlying expert pool, more than 1.8 million subject-matter experts globally, is the supply side that feeds the corpus. New calls scheduled through Guidepoint's moderators continue to add to the library at the 5,000-per-month rate the firm cites, which keeps the indexed transcript base fresh against ongoing market events.

Watch for the rest of the expert network category to follow with MCP servers of their own across Claude and other agent platforms, and for buy-side compliance policies to start specifying source-linked attribution as a procurement requirement rather than a nice-to-have.
